On Saturday, April 22, all are invited to join the YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County, the Middle East Justice and Peace Group of Central PA, and our guest panelists for a conversation on racial and ethnic profiling. Members of the community will share personal stories of how profiling has impacted them, our panelists will discuss how it’s used and what the community can do to respond.
Our panelists include: Amanda Arbour of the YWCA Greater Harrisburg, Gettysburg’s Chief of Police, Joe Dougherty, Gail Hull of the Adams County Human Relations Council, Samia Malik of the Counsel on American Islamic Relations, columnist Pat Nevada, and Ann Van Dyke of the Community Responders Network and the PA Human Relations Commission.
