An executive session of the Borough Council of the Borough of Gettysburg will be
conducted immediately following the adjournment of this evening’s meeting
consistent with section 708(a)(2) and section 708(a)(5) of the Sunshine Act for the
following purposes: (1) to provide information and to discuss strategy related to the
upcoming negotiation of a new collective bargaining agreement with the International
Brotherhood of Teamsters Local No. 776, Gettysburg Borough Police Labor
Organization; and (2) to review and discuss matters of Borough business which, if
conducted in public, could lead to the disclosure of information or matters of
confidentiality protected by law.

Architectural Review Board (HARB) following its review on March 16, 2022 and

COA 22-0015 MAJOR PROJECT: 150 N. Third Street – Timely Place LLC, Jon
Shultz to approve the roof replacement that is consistent with both the Secretary of
the Interior Guidelines and the Gettysburg Design Guide as presented to the Board in
the application dated January 20, 2022; COA 22-0025 MAJOR PROJECT: 451
Baltimore Street, The Rupp House – Gettysburg Foundation to approve the
replacement of a deteriorated front porch with Treks floor decking that is consistent

MAJOR PROJECT: 57 Breckenridge Street – Joshua Joseph to approve the
replacement of the 8-inch aluminum siding with an 8-inch smooth vinyl siding as
defined with an adjusted scope of work that would reflect that the front façade of the
building would have wood trim elements that is consistent with both the Secretary of
the Interior Guidelines and the Gettysburg Design Guide as presented to the Board in
the application dated February 23, 2022.

A motion to adopt a Resolution authorizing the addition of Lincoln Square and
portions of Chambersburg Street, Carlisle Street, and York Street to the Borough’s
Baltimore Street Master Plan infrastructure project for its grant application
submission, committing $451,535 in non-federal local funds for the construction of
the Gettysburg Gateway Connectivity Project, to the United States Department of
Transportation for a request for construction funding in the amount of $9,135,340
through the 2022 RAISE discretionary grants program.
A motion to authorize a COLA increase for retired police pensioner Craig Staley, to
be paid from the Police Pension Plan effective March 1, 2022.
