Speaking of Gettysburg – A Conversation with Dean Shultz, John Heiser and Jennifer Murray

An invitation to join Dr. Jennifer Murray and special guests Dean Shultz and John Heiser for an unscripted discussion considering all things Gettysburg where you help lead the discussion.
This informal gathering will serve as our third annual fundraiser to benefit the Dean Shultz Civil War Scholarship at Oklahoma State University. Our outdoor roundtable style program will cover the Battle of Gettysburg, the History of the Battlefield, the town of Gettysburg and local history…there’s something for everyone!
For those who have not had the opportunity to meet Dean, John, or Jen in a casual setting here is your chance to sit down with three of the most knowledgeable and personable historians you will ever meet.
Between 2:00 and 4:00 we will meet on Dean’s property and set up under a big, old Sycamore tree for this event. You only need bring a chair and a drink to enjoy the afternoon. Dean has some chairs that we will have available should you need them.
As an added bonus, Dean has offered to provide a personal tour of the old McAllister Mill site on Rock Creek after our program’s conclusion for those who wish to join us.
There will be no set donation request, but as a fundraiser we will gladly accept any level of contribution you may wish to make. I will provide further details of the purpose of the Dean Shultz Scholarship in the event page comments.
Importantly – Water and Restroom facilities will be available.
