AGENDA AND PROCEDURE FOR REORGANIZATION MEETING
OF HANOVER BOROUGH COUNCIL
MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Moment of Silence
3. Borough Solicitor will administer Oath of Office to Mayor SueAnn Whitman.
4. Mayor Whitman presides at this meeting.
5. Roll Call by Borough Secretary.
6. Mayor Whitman requests that the Borough Secretary report on receipt of
Certificates of Election and Affidavits of Residency.
7. Mayor Whitman will administer Oath of Office to the Councilpersons elected
November, 2021:
First Ward: Tim Kress 2 years until 12/31/23
First Ward: Brian Fuentes 4 years until 12/31/25
Second Ward: William W. Reichart, II 4 years until 12/31/25
Third Ward: Carol Greenholt 4 years until 12/31/25
Fourth Ward: Barbara A. Rupp 4 years until 12/31/25
Fifth Ward: Christopher Lockard 4 years until 12/31/25
Tax Collector: Holly Liska 4 years until 12/31/25
8. Mayor Whitman now announces that Council is ready to organize for 2022-2023.
a. The floor is open to nominations for President.
(No second is required for nominations. After all nominations are taken, votes will occur
in the order the nomination was made, until a majority is reached.)

in the order the nomination was made, until a majority is reached.)
(Following the nomination and election of the President and VicePresident of Council, Mayor Whitman will turn the chair over to the newly
elected President.)
9. Newly elected President of Council calls for approval for the following officers for
2022/2023: Borough Manager, Borough Secretary, Borough Treasurer,
Assistant Borough Secretary, Assistant Borough Treasurer, and Solicitor. It
would be in order for all these offices to be included as one motion.

meetings of Hanover Borough Council for fiscal year 2022: Monday, January 3rd
at 7:00 PM for Reorganization; Fourth Wednesday of January through December
at 7:00 PM; with the exception of November which shall be the fourth Tuesday at
7:00 PM.
