With the support of the Adams County Community Foundation’s “Adams County Fund for the Environment” grant the County of Adams partnered with Adams Rescue Mission (ARM), Gettysburg Green Gathering , Adams County Farmers Market , Straban Township and others to create a glass recycling program for the county.
The Adams County Glass Recycling Collection Site is located at 230 Greenamyer Lane (Rear of the 911 Emergency Services Center) Drop off is held on the first Saturday of the month 9-12pm.
Additionally, you can bring your glass recycling to the Adams County Farmers Market every 3rd Saturday during the market season (May – October)
During the month of April Adams Rescue Mission (ARM) will be accepting empty glass bottles and jars for recycling at their location 2515 York Rd, in recognition of Earth Day.
