These programs are integral to our mission of empowering individuals and families in South Central Pennsylvania to achieve self-sufficiency and break the cycle of poverty. Many of these programs receive no funding or are underfunded. Guests will have an opportunity to make a gift to the program of their choosing at the event. Two of SCCAP’s Corporate Sponsors will also be on hand and will be presenting checks at the event. Representatives from Jersey Mike’s Subs and Highmark WholeCare will present their ceremonial checks during the “Parade of Faces” portion of the program. “ We are so deeply appreciative of these gifts”, said Megan Shreve, CEO of SCCAP “Discretionary donations allow us to fill gaps which keep critical programs like The Gleaning Project, our Food Pantries, Support Circles and our Homeless Shelters open, and allow us to provide appropriate support to families that lead to long term stability. These gifts enable SCCAP to administer programs that are not funded by the government but are critical to helping individuals in our community! Thank you to these Corporate sponsors and to all our donors for making such a significant difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors!” We invite community members, businesses, and supporters to join us for this extraordinary event. Your presence and contributions will help SCCAP continue its essential work, providing hope and support to those in need.
